Marketing internship in a luxury hotel on Gran Canaria

Our luxury partner hotel on Gran Canaria currently has vacant internship positions in the Marketing & Sales department. Due to several years of experience with interns, the hotel offers a professional working environment. You will support the marketing team and work in an international environment. This gives you the opportunity to improve your Spanish as well as your English skills. There are also internships available in the Reception, Public Relations and Human Resources departments.

Our partner hotel is located in one of the top locations on Gran Canaria. It is situated directly by the beach and the centre is close by. Restaurants, bars and shopping facilities are within walking distance. In addition, there are other interns in the hotel throughout the year, so you will quickly find connection. You will receive accommodation, free meals and a monthly remuneration of 200€.

• You work for an international hotel chain in the Marketing & Sales department
• Your working hours are 40 hours a week, the weekends are off
• The hotel is situated directly by the beach and the centre is close by
• The duration of the marketing internship is 3 – 6 months

• Execution of hotel tours for tour operators or travel agency employees
• Content creation in English, German and Spanish
• Calculation of seasonal offers and prices
• Contract management, event planning and execution
• Compilation of information material for the presentation of the hotel
• Welcome and supervision of incentive and VIP groups
• Social media and online marketing

• Student or trainee in the field of tourism, hotel management, marketing, international management, foreign languages, communication, business administration or similar fields of study
• Open-minded, cheerful, sociable
• Structured way of working, pleasure in dealing with international guests
• Knowledge of English and Spanish is a prerequisite, other foreign languages are an advantage
